Peace and Plenty Iron Mantelpiece circa 1885 . This late Victorian cast iron fire surround depicts Grecian Goddesses, Peace holding a dove and olive branches and Plenty holding the cornucopia overflowing with flowers and fruit . Exquisitely crisp casting .

The fire surround in the photographs is now sold , but we do have the nearly identical model awaiting restoration .
