Small Victorian arched insert with decorative  moulding and nice detailing to the bottom of the front bars . Circa 1870 .

The cast iron fire back has been repaired and is now only suitable for decorative purposes , alternatively it can be supplied with a firebrick and stool grate , thus making it fine for a real fire.
