Product Description

Tiled grate by BICLAM ( Bennetts iron foundry ) manufactured in Stockport Cheshire . Circa 1891

This tiled grate has been finished with a heat resisting matt black paint .

The Victorian tiles in the photo are an extra  £550.00 for the set of six and eight spacers. The tiles were designed by John Moyr Smith for the Minton Tile Company, the tiles depict Shakespeare scenes – Twelfth night act 2 scene 3, Winters tale act 5 scene 3, Timon of Athens act 3 scene 6, Cymbeline act 2 scene 2, Macbeth act 5 scene 7, King Lear act1 scene 1 .

Supplied with a firebrick and stool grate .

These tiles can be changed or moved into another tiled fireplace if required as we always have over 100 sets of antique tiles available. All our antique tiled fireplaces are delivered with their tiles already plastered in place ready for immediate installation.
