Restored arched grate with a decorative moulding and flue flap . The grate is finished in the traditional manner with grate polish . Circa 1870
This insert has been seamlessly extended giving it a large back plate .
On being restored the fireback of the fireplace has received some repairs making it only suitable for a living flame gas fire or decorative use .
